Angel Tree Program
Each year our agency hosts an Angel Tree Program that secures sponsors for each child in Foster Care from our County for the holidays. We work closely with Child Protective Services Social Workers to ensure that each child's wish-list is compiled and prepared to provide to each sponsor. Sponsors then so generously shop for their Angel and deliver gifts to our staff by December 11th for us to wrap and send out for delivery before the holidays! This program is so heartwarming to see the generosity of our community and the joy it brings to the children who need it the most.
We have a number of children who are in out-of-home placements with either relatives or Foster/Resource Families that could use a little spirit this season. With a shortage of local Foster/Resource Families in our County, many of these children are placed in surrounding counties. This means they must change schools, make new friends, and many more changes on top of the changes that come along with being separated from their birth families. It can be a challenge for many of the children in our Angel Tree Program and we strive to bring them as much comfort as possible during the holidays.

If you are interested in sponsoring an Angel this Holiday Season, please contact our office to be added to the waitlist. As Angel information comes in, you will be contacted with your Angel's information. Each year we are humbled by the generosity our community shows to our Angel Tree Program, especially to each of our special Angels. This is a great way to spread holiday cheer as families, work groups, friend groups, clubs, and more. We have had many families take Angels and encourage their own children to shop for them as a way to teach the importance of Christmas, especially for those who are separated from their birth family.
We ask that all Angel Tree gifts be delivered to our office unwrapped no later than Monday December 11th to allow time for our staff to prepare and deliver them before the holidays. We ensure that children placed in the same home feel the joy as equally as possible and that everyone feels special.
